Overview
Ladybird Books is a children's books publishing company, an imprint of Penguin Random House. The company was looking to celebrate its centenary with an exhibit at the London Design Festival. The exhibit aimed to re-imagine the Ladybird's classic pocket-sized books as interactive and enjoyable brand experiences.
Creation
Designed an interactive gaming installation titled The Ladybird Web. It involved fifty illustrations from the Ladybird archives and creations of fifty modern world illustrations. The game was designed to match the connecting pairs from the two sets with colourful strings and thereby create an analogue 'Web', interpreting Ladybird Books as a classic search engine.
