Overview
Coorg is an upcoming opulent coffee shop in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Conceptualised on the mélange of the Arabic and Indian culture, it hopes to source the ingredients from Coorg, Karnataka and serve the Aroma of India to coffee lovers in Riyadh.
Creation
Designed a culturally inspired identity amalgamating the motifs, colours and royalty from Saudi Arabia and southern India. Every element designed as part of the identity is thoroughly researched and deeply rooted in the traditions and heritage of the two lands.
Research and Ideation
The colours of the identity are inspired by the royalty and vibrance witnessed in the architecture of the two cultures.
The form and patterns of the identity are inspired by the blend of geometric and organic motifs originating from the Arabic tradition as well as the very iconic Kasuti embroidery of Karnataka.
